Chicken in orange sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into small cubes and coat them lightly with flour.
  2. Melt some butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken cubes and sauté for a few minutes, until they are golden brown on all sides.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, zest the orange with a fine grater. Cut the orange in half and squeeze out the juice.
  5. Once the chicken is browned, add the orange zest (reserving a bit for garnish), orange juice, and half a cup of water to the pan. Season with salt.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring often. Add a splash of water as needed to prevent the chicken from sticking.
  7. Before serving, sprinkle the chicken with the reserved orange zest.
